Hi All, Anthony Vapes here. Some of you may know me from my youtube channel, some may have never heard of me. But i was asked to be a blog writer for aspire. Today I’m going to talk about how to Marry Vape Batteries.

Since many vapers use mods that take multiple batteries, I’m sure you’ve all heard the term to use “married batteries” so 1st i’ll explain what does this mean. Well it’s pretty simple, a married set of batteries are a set that are the same battery (brand and model) that were purchased together, used together, and charged together at all times.

So how do you marry vape batteries? Well it’s simple you buy them new and you put them together in a set and never “break them up” they can be used in any mod together that has the same battery configuration. They are married to each other and not your mod.

Now lets say you have a pair of batteries for a year and you buy a 3 battery vape mod, at this point you can’t just buy 1 battery and add it to the other 2. You’ll need 3 new batteries. Now the next part is where there is a bit of a grey area. What if you only had the batteries for a few weeks and want to add a 3rd into it for a 3 battery mod. The answer is yes you can. The issue is there isn’t a definitive length of time of how long unmarried batteries can be added to each other

The reason for this isn’t that complicated. See batteries over time become weaker. They don’t hold a charge as long and they degrade and they just don’t work as well. If you have an older battery and try to marry it to a new battery, the performance of the older one will drag down the newer one, putting more stress on it then you should. That’s why you don’t mix older and newer vape batteries. If it’s only been a few weeks or so, you are fine to marry in an extra battery If it’s been a few months you are much better off buying a new set

So a few do’s and dont’s when you marry vape batteries

Do’s

  1. Do always use the same brand and model.
  2. Ideally you buy them together and marry them from the start
  3. They can be divorced at any time, but don’t remarry a divorced set

Dont’s

  1. Divorce and re-marry vape battery sets. (aka have 2 batteries and sometimes use them as singles and others as pairs)
  2. Don’t mix and match different brands and models
  3. Don’t add new vape batteries to married old batteries to make another set.

What if a married set cheats on each other?

Then we might need to have some real talk about what’s going on in this battery relationship.

One of them is tired of going to work and paying all the bills while the other won’t even clean the house. Can’t say I blame him 😂
