Aspire Speeder: Where ya been all my life.

Aspire Speeder: Where ya been all my life.

Let’s just get this outta the way right now. Yes this kit was sent to me for the purpose of this review from the Ultimate Maniacs up at Aspire Vape Co. This in no way affects this review! Now on to the show.

In the Aspire Speeder kit you’ll receive, the mod, Athos tank, preinstalled with a .16 ohm coil rated 100-120 watts. A bonus .3 ohm rated at 60-75 watts, and a spare glass. Aspire didn’t stop there. They also threw in a usb cable, warranty card, instruction manual, a battery safety and coil priming warning. Oh Aspire you thought of everything.

Let’s start with the Athos tank. This is for you cloud chuckers out there. The build quality is 2nd to none. The glass is protected by a metal shell, Nautilus 2 style. That’s where the similarities end. To fill the Athos simply unscrew the top and dump 4 ml of juice in and get the party started. I’ve used the thing for a little over a week and it hasn’t seeped a drop of juice. The .16 coil was tested 1st and let me tell ya that beast produces. The cloud production was insane. I blew through a tank in just a few hours . Flavor however was a little lacking to me. It was good but not great. Next I tested the .3 coil. Not as much cloud but more intense flavor. Naturally less watts means less clouds. SCIENCE!!! Still not the most flavorful but much better.

The Speeder is a 200 watt dual 18650 mod. They tossed all the features into this one. You got your TC, power curves, bypass and voltage mode. One of my favorite features is the auto rotating screen. It’s not perfect but it’s better than nothing. Once again, build quality is top notch. That’s one thing you never have to worry about with Aspire. I have owned many and they all pass the test.

I’m not a TC guy. Could be because most mods simply don’t get it right. To properly review I have to take one for the team. I’m here to tell you the Aspire Speeder nail it. I was shocked. The power backed down when needed and I vaped the coil dry. Good job Aspire you get a gold star. Everything else checks out too. The power curves work and the screen makes it easy to set up. I like my exotic coils, the curves go hand in hand. Another thing worth mentioning is the battery life. I vape the same watts and take roughly the same amount of toots everyday. I get noticeably more life outta the Aspire Speeder.

Let’s wrap this thing up. The cons, the Athos tank. Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad tank. It’s just ok. The flavor just isn’t quit there for me. The pros, everything about the mod. The ease of use, the size, the form factor, I could go on all day. I tried my best to find a con. Everything works as advertised. If you are looking for a 200 watt dual 18650 mod, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Aspire Speeder.
