Vaping This Summer?

Vaping This Summer?

Summer is almost here and you know what that means: family trips to the beach, backyard grilling, outdoor sporting events, and car seats that are painful to sit on!  As a vaper there are some things that you should keep in mind during these hot summer days.

E-juice has two main enemies: heat and UV radiation (sunlight), and there is plenty of both of those to go around during the summer.  Heat can cause flavorings to degrade so that your favorite juice will end up tasting flat or bland.  UV radiation is one of the major causes of nicotine oxidizing.  This will cause a noticeable darkening of the e-juice and may cause a peppery taste as a result.  A good idea for going out and about during the summer is to make sure your e-juice stays in your pocket or even a cooler.  Another simple tip is to use a unicorn or plastic dropper bottle for easy traveling.

A car parked outside on a hot summer day of 80 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit can quickly have it’s temperature inside reach anywhere between 130 to 172 degrees Fahrenheit!  While this can be bad news for e-juice it can be even worse news for a mod and/or batteries and potentially the car itself.  As with virtually any electronics, please remember to always take your mod and/or batteries with you when leaving your vehicle in the heat for an extended period of time.

Who doesn’t love cooling off from the heat and sun of summer with activities like swimming or throwing water balloon fights?  Just be certain to keep mods and batteries away from any sources of water as it may damage them and certainly void your warranty.  Besides, after winning the water balloon fight you’ll want to celebrate with a nice tasty cloud!

Aspire to be mindful of the warm summer temperatures and enjoy these beautiful days.
