Vapors come from all walks of life. Armed with different taste buds and a preference to certain styles of vaping. Lucky for us vaping caters to everyone. Doesn’t matter if you prefer baby clouds, or ones that look like they belong in the sky. If you like dessert, fruit, cereal or tobacco flavors? Vaping has ya covered wagon. Some of you may not know what’s in that bottle of awesomeness. If you want to know what’s in your ejuice, strap in. I’m gonna take you on a ride.
Vegetable glycerin in short is what’s responsible for those clouds you are blowing. The higher the vg the bigger the cloud. I just dropped some science on you. Vg is a carbohydrate derived from plant oils. It’s not just used for making ejuice. You will find it in some food processes and in cosmetic applications. It’s flavorless, if you want to lower your nicotine level or don’t like that kick you in the back of the throat feeling from vaping. You’re gonna want your ejuice to contain more of this.
Propylene Glycol it’s colorless, odorless, and has a light sweet taste. This ruffles the feathers of the anti vaping zealots. Pg is an ingredient in anti freeze. Because they share a common ingredient people with small brains will cry, there’s antifreeze in that there ejuice. They won’t think twice about giving their children medicine and use flavors for baking to feed their families. Both of which contain pg. Anywhodles, pg is the part of your ejuice responsible for carrying the flavor and simulating the throat sensation a cigarette gave you. If you’re like me and love that throat hit and higher nicotine you’ll love it.
Next up to the plate we have nicotine. That’s the reason we are all here. We crave our nicotine, but decided we want it without smelling like an ashtray. The key to a successful switch to ejuice is knowing how much of this you need. Too much can make you sick. Too little can lead to you constantly vaping. It is recommended to start at 24 to be on the level and gradually go down. If you’re a mouth to lung vapor where you stop at will most likely be higher than that buddy using his Cloud Spewer 3000. I’m a mouth to lung vapor at heart, but I do swing both ways. When I employ my Nautilus 2 I prefer my ejuice to contain 18 mg. Sometimes I’ll favor the Cleito EXO, 3 mg for me please. Nicotine dissolves in pg so the higher the nic the harder the throat hit.
Finally we end on flavors. All that deliciousness in your ejuice is food grade and found in a plethora of products. Each bottle containing it’s own unique blend. The sheer amount out there should please everyone. You got your basic single flavors, and your complex flavors you’d swear was forged on Mt. Olympus. A lot of people making the plunge start with tobacco flavors. I was not one of them . I wanted to be far far away from stink sticks as possible. I wanted fruity flavors in my ejuice and have moved on to complex desserts. In conclusion, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried. I hope you leave here with a better understanding of what’s in your ejuice.
